This is a closed
group for parents who have suffered the death of their child. It is a 9 week program. The child's age can range from 3 years old to adult. BFO does its best to keep group applicants consistant according to the child's age. Group sizes range from 4 to 10 people.
This support group is a closed format and all applicants
are asked to commit to the full 9 weeks
A reunion will be planned for approximately two months
after the group concludes.. The facilitators are
themselves bereaved, and at a place in their grief journey
that they are capable of giving back. They have completed
BFO's facilitator training course and will provide the
group with structure and guidance over the course of the
9 weeks.
Group applicants should complete the registration form. Please return the completed registrration forms by email, fax or mail. All information
received is confidential. Applicants will
be contacted by the BFO office to discuss the next possible
group and any needs the family may presently have. . Please note that submitting a registration
form does not ensure participation in the upcoming group. In order to maintain quality, group sizes are limited. Participants will be notified if they are placed on a waiting list.
