BEREAVED FAMILIES OF ONTARIO - MIDWESTERN REGION
presents our
4TH EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE
Beyond Gender:  Understanding Masculine Grief

Societal pressures and lack of understanding about grief cause many men to feel uncomfortable in expressing themselves after the death of someone they cared about. It is Bereaved Families’ hope that the information provided will educate professionals and members of the public, so that, as a community, we are able to support men more effectively in their grief journey. We are very pleased to have Tom Golden, the author of Swallowed by a Snake: The Gift of the Masculine Side of Healing, as our keynote speaker. Mr. Golden is an expert on the intricacies of masculine or instrumental grief.
