The BFO office is now located on the second floor of the Pioneer Terrance at Grand River Hospital's Freeport Health Centre, located at 3570 King St. East in Kitchener. 

When you arrive at Freeport, please use the Pioneer Terrace Entrance and take the elevators just inside this entrance to the 2nd floor.  The BFO and Hospice offices are directly ahead.  Please ring the chimes in the receptions area is there is no one at the main desk

 
 

Directions to the BFO Office:

From the 401

 

Exit Highway 8 West (Kitchener). Keep right and take Highway 8 Kitchener.
Take the first exit, Sports World Drive. Turn right and follow to King Street (second light). Turn right on King Street and stay in left lane.


Travel five kilometers and cross the Grand River. The Grand River Hospital Freeport Health Centre exit is on the right (east) side.

 

From North of Kitchener

 

Take the Conestoga Parkway (8) south. Exit Highway 8 East to the 401.
Exit Highway 8 at Fairway Road. Turn left on Fairway and right on King Street.

 

By Bus

 

Route 10 Chicopee stops behind the Freeport Health Centre on Morrison Road.

 

Parking is available for patients and visitors in the following areas:
 

  • Parking lot, drivers must take a ticket to enter the lot and insert the ticket at the exit gate when they are ready to leave to pay the amount owing with coins and bills. Rates are $2 per half hour to a maximum of $7 per day.
  • Parking meters $2.00 per half hour. Located on the left hand side as you enter the grounds the meters accept $1 and $2 coins, quarters, dimes, and nickels.

Handicapped accessible parking is available at the metered parking spaces near the entrance to the main lobby and in the main parking lot. Special permits are available through security for patients who require accessible parking but have not yet received an official provincial permit.
