Bereaved Families of Ontario understands that when a co-worker/employee experiences the death of a loved one, it can be difficult to know what to say, or what we can do to help. We offer a 60 minute presentation in the workplace to address these situations.

Understanding Grief Seminar
This 40 minute seminar discusses how grief affects us in all facets of our life, the myths and facts surrounding grief and mourning, the needs of mourning and coping strategies to work through and support grief. This workshop is ideal for volunteers and staff who encounter grief in their support or workplace. It can also be very helpful for friends and family of individuals who have experienced a death.

Stress and Growth Over Time: Caregiving and Bereaved Parents of Children with Life-Limiting Illnesses
Wilfred Laurier University, Faculty of Social Work is currently conducting a study of bereaved parents who have cared for a child with life-limiting illness. We are looking for parents/guardians who are willing to share the story of caring for their child, the story of their death and how that experience changes parents' lives.
