12th Annual Charity Golf Classic Recap

On Saturday, June 5th at New Dundee Golf and Country Club BFO-Midwestern Region held its 12th Annual Charity Golf Classic. The weather was questionable at first but it cleared up at about 11am and lasted until late that evening. We had a fabulous day and a great time was had by all 120 golfers. A very appreciative thank you goes out to all of our sponsors especially Canadian Tire Waterloo West, Norampac St.Mary's, Henry Walser Funeral Home, Golf North, Gemini Motors, CKCO, and Kendra Greenwood and Rick Snider.

All participants were supplied a complimentary prize along with many opportunities to win others on the course and with silent auction bids.

The following people were the winners of special event prizes and also received complimentary gifts from the prize table for their efforts; Best female team: Joan Snyder, Judy Fourney, Rosemary LaRue and Nancie Fairs-Dickic.

Best Male team: Brian Knight, Tom Lawrence, Mike Dionne and Tony Ngimat Best mixed team: Jane Hale-MacDonald, Cathy Hale, Albert Singh and Jordan Hale-Mighton.

The Closest to the Pin was Brian Knight who won a Champagne Hot Air Balloon for 2 The Longest Drive -Women was Laura Feick who won a Golf North Players Card The Longest Drive - Men was Tony Ngimat who also won a Golf North Players Card
